We capture and decode signals in the breath as early as possible to improve and save lives
Canary technology is based on robust science derived from decades of published research, cutting-edge digital technology and a flexible platform design to enable multiple uses including disease diagnosis and medication adherence.
Canary Health Technologies (Canary) is medical technology company that is focused on decoding the data in exhaled breath. Combined with AI powered intelligence, Canary’s nano-sensor technology can detect diseases, characterize the nature and location of cancers, and predict and monitor responses to therapy. In addition, Canary’s proprietary biosensors and dynamic database are also capable of monitoring and verify medication adherence and track disease outbreaks, all in real time.
After over 40 years of research, breath science is finally becoming commercially viable. Designed to overcome a variety of challenges that have confounded prior approaches to breath-based analysis and early-stage cancer and disease detection, Canary’s digital bio-patterns are based on nano-sensor technology that does not need expensive lab equipment and analysis by lab technicians. What differentiates Canary from others in the space is that it is truly a point-of-care solution that can be used in a doctor’s office. The 3-minute digital breath test uses raw exhaled breath obtained at normal room temperature with no pre-processing or shipping of samples required & with results available within minutes. Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are collected by the nano-sensors and sent to the cloud for real-time analysis. Canary's niche space is early detection of diseases which will decrease healthcare costs, prolong and improve lives, and incentivize the development of life-saving treatments. The screening prototype for lung cancer has been tested in human field trials with high sensitivity & specificity.
Our team works with key opinion leaders, clinicians, regulatory experts, data scientists and commercial partners to design the most rigorous and fastest pathway to develop the products so patients and their doctors can use them to improve and save lives. Through our nano-sensor technology, we want to:
-
Predict the risk of developing cancers early
-
Identify the presence of diseases including characterization
-
Track and monitor responses to therapies and medications
